Years ago I purchased Wamsutta percale sheets which lasted "forever", Somehow, in the interim I forgot about Wamsutta and tried other more expensive brands such as Yves de Lorme, Frette and Matouk. All were not quite top level. Then I came across a Wamsutta ad and thought, why not? Why not, indeed! I am SO PLEASED with. my percale sheets! They are so lovely and cool. Really top notch! I love the cool comfort of these percale sheets. I grew up on nothing but Wumsetta and returning was long overdue. I hate however how wrinkled the pillowcases get.

These are very nice sheets and fit extremely well. The reason for only 4 stars is I was hoping that the sheets were a little more crisp. Its just a personal thing for us. Other than that I would buy these sheets again.

As I posted about the extra pillow cases I bought, I had been buying Wamsutta sheets and pillow cases for years, and was happy to come across them again. I had never purchased the percale before (typically bought the Egyptian cotton), but I thought I'd give these a try. I really like the coolness feeling to them and they are so well made. I so appreciate the extra strong and thicker elastic used on the fitted sheets and believe it helps them to stay in place (so much better than other brands I tried). I would most definitely recommend them. Wamsutta, now that I found you again, you are my go to for sheets and pillow cases!
