Comparing these sheets to two others I like, Sferra's Milos sateen and SDH's Pavia sateen, I would say they fall in the middle as far as heaviness. Not as heavy as Sferra's not as light as SDH's but certainly comfortable and a whole lot less money (India vs Italy). We have dogs who love to rummage around in our bed so I'm changing the bedding two or three times a week. Hence the search for something nice, but more affordable to purchase in multiples. I washed these sheets upon arrival and forgot to pull them out of the dryer before they were done so they did come out a bit wrinkled (but not terrible). If I had removed them from the dryer sooner and hung them to "final dry" it would have been better. I was challenged with what duvet cover might look good with the Oxford Tan color and I found one called Rosalie Botanical Print/Blush at Rejuvenation which to my eye, looks like they were made to go together. Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase from price, to shipping, to the packaging (the little cloth bags are a very nice touch).

Awesome! These sheets get softer with each wash. No pilling. FINALLY, a manufacturer who knows what a deep pocket sheet really is! Wide elastic all around. I will not buy any other brand.
I just wish the higher thread counts were still available ....
